First, clarify the sand table’s purpose (e.g., architectural display), scale (1:50-1:500) and requirements, collect CAD drawings and DEM data. Use CAD/SU for overall design, refine details, mark material/size/process requirements to form standardized files. Make a detailed plan to ensure orderly production.
Select suitable materials (ABS, acrylic, photosensitive resin, etc.) based on the design. Pretreat materials: cut and polish boards, dry 3D printing materials, clean metal surfaces to ensure stable performance and prepare for core processing.
